At Catapillr we have developed a number of solutions to help and assist working parents. We partner with family-friendly employers who want to improve the wellbeing of their working parent workforce.
What’s the innovation?
We have developed a new workplace solution to help working parents manage all of their childcare needs. The platform facilitates an employee salary cash advance, repayable within a 12 month period, specifically for childcare and children’s activities. Childcare is exhausting to find and arrange. The costs are excruciatingly high and with 40% of the paid employment workforce in the UK being parents, a solution which provides assistance and makes childcare easier to manage and cheaper will have a significant impact.
We are the only company in the UK who have designed, developed and launched a salary advance workplace solution, to deal with the issues of childcare. We are the first company to have built a bridge between employers, employees, childcare providers and the Government’s new childcare support scheme called Tax-Free Childcare. HMRC have encouraged employers to help their employees with their Tax-Free childcare accounts but up until we created our platform, there was not an automated and secure way in which to do so.
What are you looking to get from #VFS21?
In terms of attending VFS20, we are looking to partner with a number of local companies who would like to offer our innovative employer-led childcare funding solution to their employees. It’s simple and low cost to use and provides a host of benefits for working parents, helping to make childcare cheaper and easier to manage. In addition, our platform enables working parents to be able to book the school holiday cover they require for their children, whilst spreading out the cost.
