Caring for Ageing
What’s the innovation?
K-Fob Outpatient Monitor. We will be able to demonstrate that Southampton has good Sigfox coverage and units are ready for starting trials. The data from K-Sockets can be shown in real-time via the WebApp.
Kemuri is a start-up founded in 2014. It has had funding greater than £1.3 million from Innovate UK and two rounds of venture capital. The company is gaining traction with trials of K-Sockets with local authorities and housing associations. Developments include K-Fobs, as a replacement for existing pendant alarms and an outpatient monitor after hospital discharge.
So, what are you looking to get from the event?
- Interest from potential customers
- Interest from investors
- Interest for academic research
The next round of investment is for national and international scale-up. £5million to £10million would be reasonable.
