It may come as no surprise to those of you who know Tina, but she defines herself as a workaholic – and always has been! This started from the very young age of 4 years old when she used to go out on the building site with her dad and ride around on the diggers. It was soon apparent that she was not builder material but more astute to numbers and helped her dad processing the men’s wages and count money.
Throughout her life she has always held a full-time job and done “stuff” on the side to either increase her earnings or her knowledge. In the 1990’s she qualified for many health therapies including Aromatherapy, Shiatsu to name a few, hoping to go off around the world working on cruise ships. This was thwarted by meeting (her now ex-husband) and having two fantastic children.
In 2007 She met her current partner in both home and work, Matt. Family has always been important, but so has her career. In 2010 she had the birth of her third child with her partner Matt … “Singlepoint” they combined their skills, to bring IT & software accounting together.
In 2020, her fourth baby emerged, something completely different, The Fern Sandwich Bar, this meant doing a lot of learning in a very short time to ensure all the food and hygiene certificates were under her belt. She enjoys being creative with catering events and supply a great breakfast to the local community and is currently studying food sculpturing to elevate her presentation skills. After working 7 days a week, decided to sell this and focus more on the bookkeeping and management accounts.
Matt is her greatest supporter and they have 4 cats and also foster cats for a local Cat Rescue. She idolises her grandchildren Ruby & Roman. Downtime doesn’t really exist because she always fills it with some from of learning. Recently she has undertaken courses in NLP and Management Leadership to help enhance Singlepoint to great heights.
She is currently 6 weeks into forming a new Choir for the Dorset Cancer Care Foundation, and takes every opportunity to sing her team and companies praises….
