This is a zero emissions machine, cable laying machines on the market are all petrol driven. With the increasing demand for laying cable in the ground(FTTH, EV home charging, inter-connecting Wind and Solar power generation etc.) the electric-powered cable layer can play an important part in putting down this infrastructure. The initial design is for a small machine but its dimensions can be increased for companies wanting a cable layer to bury cable deeper into the ground.
