Pam is a portfolio entrepreneur and a former venture capitalist, specialising in early stage biotech and renewable energy. Her areas of research and practice include strategic growth, expansion and turnaround of entrepreneurial start-ups, gender entrepreneuring and entrepreneurial learning and skills development.
Pam led the Women in Digital Enterprise Accelerator programme, co-sponsored by NatWest, that was rolled out regionally to eighty-odd qualifying women’s led businesses last year and she is involved in a number of enterprise policy and business finance networks. She was recently awarded Honorary Fellowship by the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE/SFEDI). As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) Pam works closely with regional industry partners on experimental approaches to developing the entrepreneurial mindsets, digital skillsets and enterprising potential of undergraduates and women’s led businesses.
