#VFS20: VIRTUAL BRIEFING

Venturefest South has a jam-packed schedule in store for its delegates at the #VFS20 Virtual Briefing.

Exploring all things innovation, opportunities and funding, this two-hour interactive showcase will bring together a range of speakers and innovation advocates from BAE Systems, Solent LEP, Dstl, DASA, Carswell Gould, Joinmytown and more (discover the full schedule here).

The aim is to recognise,  fuel and support the work of the south’s businesses, innovators and entrepreneurs. Event attendees will find out about business support and funding, mentoring, and wider innovation and business opportunities.

We will be joined by one of the UK’s top ten female entrepreneurs, Kate Bell from the brilliant Zip Us In, who won #VFS19 Innovator of the Year. For those building their business, a master class in marketing from award-winning marketing strategist, Gareth Miller will share some tricks and tips on launching and scaling new propositions (no matter what the world is throwing at us).

VFS Partner, Jack Kennedy will be joined by panelists from TechNation, Brightbulb Design, Root 21 and the South Coast Centre of Excellence for Satellite Applications to explore ‘What makes the south a great place to innovate?’

The #VFS20 Virtual Briefing kicks off a six-month programme of events in the run up to the live #VFS21 Festival of Innovation on 19 March 2021.  Tickets are free to the virtual briefing thanks to the VFS partners and sponsors.
