This invite-only meet up aims to explore the big questions; economic development, retaining talent, innovation, training the future workforce, along with ways to collaboratively improve the region’s capability across themes including business support & finance, entrepreneurship, and nurturing supply chains.

Your hosts are the board of Venturefest South which includes leaders from DSTL, Innovate UK, Solent Partners, British Business Bank, Carswell Gould, The University of Southampton, The University of Portsmouth, The University of Winchester, KTN, South Hampshire College Group, Southampton City Council, and Portsmouth City Council.

The meet up will take the shape of a drinks and light bites reception. Our goal is to foster collaboration and active participation in shaping and delivering change for our region.

We believe that the South of the UK holds unique opportunities and advantages that can benefit the UK as a whole. There are many organisations and individuals who are actively working in, depending on, or impacting the innovation ecosystem for the benefit of their organisation and the wider world.

We are bringing these leaders together to discuss and consider a collaborative approach that will pool resources, energy, and effort with the aim of accelerating the South’s growth.
