As a Senior Enterprise Fellow and a lead at the Future Towns Innovation Hub, he brings together people, ideas, and expertise to tackle the complex challenges facing towns and cities. Tom’s work spans strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, focusing on sustainable infrastructure, water quality, mobility, and thriving communities. He works across sectors to accelerate place-based innovation, always grounded in the unique ecological, social, and economic context of each location. With a background in engineering consultancy and socio-technical research in academia, Tom is driven by the urgency of responding to the climate and ecological crises and believes that collaboration is key to creating healthier, more resilient, and prosperous places.
