The NOC Innovation Hub is delighted to be hosting an IP-focussed morning from specialists at law firm Stephenson Harwood with the aim of demystifying all things intellectual property. Attendees will gain practical insights into how to build IP into a valuable business asset, lowering IP risk on a fundraising or an exit, and the realities of IP disputes.
We will be guided through the morning by IP legal experts Joshua Cunnington and Jon Edwards. Joshua is a specialist IP lawyer with significant experience protecting designs, innovations and know-how in the marine sector and is an author of the IP chapters in marine law textbooks such as ‘Offshore Construction Law and Practice’ (2nd edn). Jon specialises in the enforcement, defence and exploitation of patents and trade secrets. Jon is also experienced in assisting clients navigate regulatory issues relevant to their businesses and commercial objectives.
