University Of Southampton Offer New Grant Funding For Hampshire Based Businesses Through Internship Programme
Venturefest South partner, University of Southampton, is delighted to offer grant funding to eligible businesses based in Hampshire or the surrounding areas.
The grant funding aims to fuel growth and innovation and support the local economy. By offering internships to students from the University of Southampton, you are empowering the next generation to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional experience. Internships can act as a fantastic way to grow your business, diversify your staff, and serve as a pipeline to expand into graduate recruitment.
University of Southampton internships can facilitate a mix of hybrid or remote roles in part-time or full-time hours, so long as the opportunity is a minimum of 210 hours.
Grants are offered on the condition that the internship is exclusive to University of Southampton students, all students are paid the real living wage (currently £12.00 per hour) and are registered employees and added to your PAYE for the duration of the internship.
Grants vary from £1250 – £2500 depending on the business type, and gross turnover.
