Gemma Alcock

Gemma Alcock is the founder and CEO of SkyBound and a leading expert in the use of drones for public safety and critical national infrastructure (CNI). She leads a rapidly growing, 50-strong team spanning aviation, software, AI and robotics. SkyBound combines AI-enabled remote operations with proprietary drone technology to give CNI teams timely information about incidents, site conditions and potential hazards, helping them keep people safe and essential services running. From its Southampton control centre, the company supports sites hundreds of miles away and operates in some of the UK’s most complex airspaces, including central London. Gemma was the first woman to receive the Global Public Safety Drone Leadership Award from DRONERESPONDERS.
