On superyachts, private jets and in private estates, running some of the world’s biggest companies. Nobody ever asked to see my CV, they asked one question: what’s Ryan like?
That’s what I actually got good at, reading people, trust, reputation, the things that decide who gets remembered and who gets forgotten. Now I run U-Tech, building software that asks hiring the same question.
What that world taught me about people?
It was never really about napkin folds and wine service. Ten years in private households taught me to read a room before anyone spoke in it, and make the newest person there feel like the one who mattered most. That’s not a skill for serving the wealthy. It’s a skill for understanding anyone.
